Pea soup

Ingredients:

• Split peas - 1.5 cups
• Ham or bacon - 300 g
• Onions - 2
• Carrots - 1 pc.
• Root of parsley - 50-70 g
• Butter - 3 tbsp.
• Tomato mash - 1 tbsp.
• Small crumbs - 1 cup
• Water - 1.5 liters
• Salt

Preparation:
Pre-soaked peas cover with cold water, add the skin from ham and cook. Fry finely chopped onion with ham, add grated on a coarse grater carrots and parsley. Fry all together in a butter for 3-4 minutes, put the tomato mash, stir and simmer for 3-4 minutes. Put stewed vegetables and ham in boiling pea broth, salt and cook 3-5 minutes. Put bread crumbs in a plate with soup.
