Perekladenets


Ingredients dishes - perekladenets:

• Flour - 4 tbsp.
• Eggs - 8 pcs.
• Yeast - 40 g
• Butter - 400 g
• Milk - ½ tbsp.
• Dried apricots (or apricots) - 300 g
• Raisins - 1 tbsp.
• Cherry jam (with no juice) - 300 g
• Dried plums - 300 g

How to cook perekladenets:

This old bakery was one of the favorite delicacies of Ukrainians especially loved by children because of the abundance of sweetness.

Knead the dough with the egg yolks, divide it into 4 portions. Roll the dough and shift (Ukr. “perekladaty” means “to shift, to move”) on him layer by layer prunes, dried apricots, raisins and jam. Cover the cake as dumpling, pinching its edges on top. Perekladenets is baked in oven for about an hour, so the dough is thin. When you cut it, you'll be pleasantly surprised not only a wonderful aroma, but with bright fruity colors also!
