Ukrainian airports

The very first airport in the world was a place where the brothers Wilbert and Orville Wright learned to fly and modernized their offspring - the world's first airplane. The airport named the Huffman Prairie Flying Field. It is located in Dayton (Ohio, USA). However, it was a test airfield. One of the first civil airports is inoperative nowadays airport "Devau". It was opened in 1919, in Königsberg (Germany) - the name of Kaliningrad (Russia) until 1946.

Today, international airports are an essential attribute of any major city. There are airfields of civil aviation, military aviation, co-location airports, charter airports, etc. The aircraft today is the fastest and most expensive way to travel. Despite the relative risk of flight (although the statistics says that the planes safer than ground transport), the number of flights increases and the incumbents continue to increase their capacity. In addition, the reduction in price of materials allows the craftsmen to make small private planes to travel on the middle distance.

In Ukraine the culture of creating a personal flight transport is not widely used in contrast to Western countries, but the need to quickly get from point A to point B is always there. International airports in Ukraine are in all regional centers of the country or near their borders outside the city limits. Through this page you can find all the necessary background information on the airports of Ukraine, as well as find out more detailed information (schedule, airbase, etc.) via phones of airport owners and tenants.
